POSITION SUMMARY
The FiveStar Lifestyles Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards using mechanical and manual cleaning methods. The Dishwasher is additionally responsible for maintaining clean work areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them into racks to send through the dish machine.
  • Ensure that all food debris is removed from dishes prior to organizing and stacking as clean.

  • Remove all trash from various receptacles around the kitchen and bring to the trash compactor outside of the building.

Greenskeeper

POSITION SUMMARY
The FiveStar Lifestyles Greenskeeper performs grounds maintenance work using various mowing and detailing equipment, assists with water management and renovations, and leads small projects as necessary. In addition, the Greenskeeper acts as a mentor and trains other line associates, while possessing an exemplary attitude and leadership skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Perform all tasks as instructed by Team Leads within Golf Course Maintenance Operations.
  • Check all fuel and oil levels of equipment prior to leaving the shop, refueling and cleaning upon task completion.

Maintenance Technician

POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician for FiveStar Lifestyles performs overall facility and equipment maintenance, ensuring all are in proper working condition, as well as manages communication with outside vendors for any supplies or repairs as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Maintain all mowing equipment by sharpening and adjusting equipment for cut quality.
  • Perform hourly and/or daily maintenance needs on all equipment by following manufacturers’ recommendations on what services particular equipments need.
  • Inspect the overall condition of the reel, blades and bedknives to ensure grass is cut properly and not torn.
  • Diagnose potentially malfunctioning pieces of equipment or something that will not start.
  • Listen and watch while equipment is operating to detect potential problems.
  • Teach new operators how to run pieces of equipment properly for desired cut appearance or proper operation.
  • Set all reels for daily and weekly mowing.
  • Order parts and supplies for each piece of equipment, prioritizing repairs appropriately.
  • Constantly check the compounds for cleanliness and organization.
  • Decide all of the golf course’s height of cut (HOC) on all machinery that mows grass.

Player Services Associate

POSITION SUMMARY
The FiveStar Lifestyles Player Services Associate ensures that the member and guest golf experience exceeds expectations. The Player Services Associate works collectively with the team to perform various essential functions necessary to keep the club, facility and equipment at its very best.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure that the member and guest golfing experience is consistently remarkable and efficient.
  • Responsible for golf cart preparation, which includes charging the carts and stocking with two towels, scorecards, pin placement sheets, pencil and ice.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all golf carts.
  • Line up all carts in an orderly and presentable fashion.
  • Keep all practice ranges properly picked, and ensure that all practice greens, fairways and short range areas are clean and free of practice balls.
  • Ensure that each practice station has a full den caddy of practice balls for members, along with 20 tees for use.
  • Greet all members and guests upon their arrival by placing their clubs in a cart and giving them a ride to their designated location, if requested.
  • Regularly communicate with the Pro Shop to keep them informed on which members arrive in the parking lot.
  • Clean the clubs that members practice with before their round of golf.
  • Regularly check the tee sheet to ensure accuracy.
  • Make sure that each group arrives at their first tee at least five (5) minutes before their tee time so there is no course delay.
  • Greet all members and guests upon returning to the clubhouse and clean their clubs.
  • Ensure there is fresh water, cups and trash bags at designated locations on the course.
  • Keep the parking lot clean and organized.
  • Assist in the Pro Shop as needed.
